Questions
1. I feel like the photos above are my strongest.
2. I like these pictures the most because they represent in the best way possible leading lines, fill the frame, and repetition.
The first picture shows leading lines because the carving in the wood leads up to the lines around it, and then those lines lead to the legs ,feet, and rolled up pants. Also if you look in the even more closer behind the legs the photograph shows the lines on the house which somewhat lead to the grass and trees past the person. Another plus to the picture is the way it was edited, the one main line is in complete focus so it points it out even more while everything else isn't in complete focus.
The second picture portrays fill-the-frame because the cats colorful eyes and fur on his head pops out in the picture and is darker then everything else. If the image was zoomed out only a little more then it would not show fill-the-frame and distract the eyes away from the animals face.
The last picture depicts repetition because the cigarettes are all the same, showing the Marlboro logo on every cigarette and all of the ends are black. Also they are in a line so the repetition in the picture is very clear mainly because I put them in a line as a comparison. The photograph is very strong due to the reason its up close and textural.
3. The three things are learned from this assignment were definitely what the rule of thirds were, fill the frame, and leading lines meant. I understood where to place the camera and payed more attention to the placement of my photograph. The last thing I learned was what modes on a camera worked best for different lighting settings and what type of editing fit most with my picture.
